Three videos of Cremona: my hometown

Tre filmati di Cremona: la mia città

Well, I don't live exactly in Cremona, I live in the countryside near the town, but I don't think that any of you who love wood interests something about my small village, while you have probably heard about Cremona because here lived and worked the greatest string instrument makers of the Renaissance as the Amati, Guarneri del Gesù and Stradivari and still today, there are dozens of luthiers scattered throughout the city who continue their tradition.

You can find hundreds of videos that speak about Cremona or violin making over the web, I've chosen three nice ones who speak about both.
I found  the first thanks to the 360 Woodworking, the blog of the exiled from Popular Woodworking Magazine, and is an episode of 60 Minutes from CBS News.
The other two were made in 2012 when the traditional violin craftsmanship in Cremona has been inscribed
by Unesco on the representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of umanity.

The music played by Eduardo Zosi in the last clip is the Paganini Caprice n.24, a sensational workpiece, yet I prefer it played by guitar.
Below you can find a funny duel version masterfully played by The Commander-In-Chief & Craig Ogden   and more beneath an hypnotizing version in where Su Meng demonstrates a fraction of it at various speeds.
